USCIS now accepting new DACA applications, advance parole

On December 7th, the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) released important updates on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. In this announcement, USCIS stated that they will now accept:

  • First-time DACA applications
  • DACA renewal applications
  • Advance parole documents

Additionally, USCIS is extending one-year DACA renewals and Employment Authorization Documents (EAD) to two years. You can read the full announcement on the USCIS website.
