Language Access Program Interpreter Training
Friday, February 26th 2PM – 3PM EST
Join us this Friday for a training for Language Access Program (LAP) volunteer interpreters, led by our staff members. This is a great opportunity for new volunteers to review the basics of interpretation and learn more about how interpreters work in collaboration with our legal and social work teams. All languages are welcome. Please note that this training is available only to Harvard affiliates.
To RSVP for this event, please email hirc@law.harvard.edu. Webinar registration information will be provided. Make sure to sign up as a volunteer by going to the LAP database’s website here. In order to participate in LAP, you will need to sign the Clinical Confidentiality Policy agreement, which you can do when you register at the LAP database. Please make sure you complete the confidentiality agreement before the training on Friday.
