The Harvard Representation Initiative offers pro-bono legal immigration consultation and representation, inclusive of social work support, to members of the Harvard community who are undocumented, DACAmented, or non-U.S. citizens who are concerned about their immigration status.
Call or email to schedule a consultation:
Legal Services:
Our legal representation includes assistance with filing immigration applications, representing clients before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), in Immigration Court, and beyond. All Harvard community members with immigration questions are encouraged to schedule a free consultation with our attorneys.
Social Services:
We offer social work support to all clients as part of their legal representation. Our clinical social work team can assist with emotional support, health insurance issues, financial concerns, food insecurity, and other resources on and off campus.
University Outreach & Educational Opportunities:
HRI keeps our community informed on immigration policy updates through resources such as Know Your Rights presentations and Undocu-Ally trainings. Contact us if you are interested in hosting a presentation or including us in an orientation.
Emergency Hotline
If you are a Harvard community member facing an immigration-related emergency, please contact our emergency hotline at 857-242-6755. Calls will be directed to on-call attorneys who can provide legal counsel and assistance on time-sensitive matters. Use this line for emergencies only.
