We are very pleased to welcome three undergraduate interns to the Clinic!
Diego Flores
Diego is a first-year student at Harvard College from the Bronx, NY. The work that HIRC does is extremely personal to Diego as it was just recently that his parents were able to complete their application period to become lawful permanent residents. Coming from an immigrant household, he have had a front row seat to the struggles that come with being undocumented in the United States. With the heightened tension in the country around the topic of immigration, he feels passionate about helping others going through similar experiences. He’s interested in immigration law and is strongly considering attending law school in the future.
Nicole Moulia
Nicole is an undergraduate junior at Harvard College where she studies psychology. She was originally born in Uruguay and is fluent in Spanish, and has experience working with employment-based and family-based immigration cases at an immigration law office in her hometown of Boca Raton, FL. Nicole is interested in pursuing a career in immigration law in the long-term and seeks to help immigrant families in need of legal aid.
Ryan Sears
Ryan was born and raised in Miami, Florida, a city he feel deeply connected to. He’s a second-year student at Harvard College studying Government & African-American Studies. He’s keenly interested in exploring the mechanisms and conditions under which public policy can perpetuate societal inequities and facilitate human atrocities. Through his studies, he hopes to affirm the centrality of human dignity and shared humanity internationally by defending the rule of just law, to grow in my compassion for those that are suffering around me, and to become a better advocate for vulnerable and marginalized populations.
We are excited to have Diego, Nicole, and Ryan on our team this semester and we look forward to working with them!
