Policy Advocacy – HIRC engages in advocacy locally, nationally, and internationally on cutting-edge issues related to asylum and refugee law, crimmigration, and immigrants’ rights.
Litigation – HIRC represents clients in immigration court, as well as before the Board of Immigration Appeals in federal district court, and in federal circuit courts of appeals. HIRC also has filed amicus briefs on behalf of national and international refugee law scholars on a variety of issues before the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeals, and the Board of Immigration Appeals.
